Free tea on the sign that Hector Hernandez, a business freshman, holds is part of an outreach program by students from the Adventist Student Fellowship in REACH Center for Urban Evangelism at the University of Maryland. The students from the Adventist Student Fellowship set up a booth outside the Adele H. Stamp Student Union building that offered free cookies, fruits and tea for passing UMD students. As part of their outreach, they started conversations about their faith as Seven Day Adventists. Hernandez, enthusiastic and zesty the whole time waving students over, said he loves talking to people. UMD student Afshin Fallahi approached Hernandez to ask what his organization was about. The slip of paper in his hand was given by Hernandez. It lists the details for the Adventist Student Fellowship.
