The college offers plenty of areas and facilities for leisure and chat. Margaret White, a senior reading Wildlife Ecology and Management, catches up with an old friend at a bench near the Adele H. Stamp Student Union building. Her friend is Mr Jeffery Thornton, 26, an automotive mechanic visiting the school.
The start of school signals the start of work for students, including Pre-Medicine undergraduate Cassidie Stevens, 19.

Casey Allwein, a junior studying in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, exits a bus and makes his way to class. The school shuttle provides free transport for students around town to get to campus.

Ramy El-Lissy, a freshman from the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, rushes through college on his motorized skateboard - one of many Personal Mobility Devices (PMDs) used to get around campus. He is holding a fencing blade in his hand that he needs to use for a demonstration at his club, which has provided him with "a lot of unwanted attention," he said.
The university is home to students of all ages, including Mr Feigenbaum (who declined to provide his first name), a Professor of Psychology who is currently enrolled at a part-time student on campus.

Computer Science sophomore, Victoria Sauder, browses the internet while awaiting her upcoming lecture at the lounge of the Shoemaker Building. She is making use of the free wireless internet provided for members of the school.
