Caesar: In-Class Assignment

Katie Cote sets up shop “While Waiting” at the UMD Farmers Market for the third time (ever) with her 9-year-old daughter, Eliana on Wednesday May 1st, 2019 in College Park, MD. The name for the shop came from it being created while Katie was “waiting" to adopt Eliana.

Katie(pictured) partners with a family friend’s cousin (in the frame) who lives in Haiti to create the jewelry on display at the Farmers Market in Tawes Plaza, Wednesday, May 1st, 2019. If you look closely, you can see that the regular beads, Katie’s,  are matched with paper beads, rolled and varnished.

An assortment of bracelets out for display at “While Waiting” in anticipation of students doing some Mother’s Day shopping at the UMD Farmers Market, Wednesday, May 1st, 2019.
