The Terp Thon Life in Color 5k attracted more than 150 people on Saturday, Sept. 14. Participants were put into separate groups and started at staggering times. 
After the race is finished, all participants celebrate the day by engaging in a massive color throw, which has been a tradition for after the Terpthon Life in Color 5k for the past several years.
A "Miracle Kid" from Children's National Hospital finishes the race. Several patients from Children's National Hospital came out for the race to represent the hospital and participate.
