3rd St SW, Washington DC, April 21st, 2019 |
I really like this picture because of the genuine happy emotion portrayed by the lady. The color tones of the picture also compliment the warm emotion she displayed. This was taken for our street photography assignment.
Prince George Plaza Metro, Maryland, April 21st, 2019 |
I took this picture during Good Neighbour Day 2019, I was interacting and snapping away and didn't realize this person was the mayor until the park ranger asked everyone to come over to take a group photo. I then went over to take down his details. We've since established a connection and we follow each other on Instagram.
Communications Junior, Grant Epple on stage as a morale booster during the TerpThon event on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at College Park, MD. |
This is one of my favourite pictures because I really like the colours. I am proud of the retouching I did to this photo because it was originally very dark and full of shadows due to the poor indoor lighting.
A street performer giving members of the public a quick dance tutorial at Central Park, NY on 23 Feb, 2019. |
I like how the street performer has the brightest and most colourful outfit here. My eyes were automatically drawn to the centre and I added a slight vignette to further emphasize the point.
Cars drive by the streets of Foggy Bottom in Washington DC, Taken on March 2, 2019. ISO 100 | F11 | 10s |
This was one of my first few times attempting a light trail, I remember waiting out in the cold for this shot and the joy of looking at how the image turned out. It taught me patience and anticipation to select the best time to click the shutter.
A car drives by in Washington DC March 2, 2019. ISO 100 | F16 | 1/30s |
This picture reminded me of a car ad that I saw before. It might not have been perfect but it was one of the first few times I played around with my shutter making it very memorable.
Soft light streams through the trees at Lake Artemesia Natural Area, MD on 21 Feb, 2019. |
I remember having to wake up at 5a.m. for this only to realize that I had left my SD card at home. I had to call Ian to come over since he lived near Lake Artemesia. While this shot wasn't the sunrise shot I was hoping for it taught me a valuable lesson: to always have a spare SD card on you.
Fresh morning dew from melted snow at Lake Artemesia natural area, MD on 21 Feb, 2019. |
I really liked the blend of warm and cool tones in this shot. The focus was on the morning dew from the melted snow. The layering of the picture complimented the shot really well in my opinion.
